Everything you need to know about registering, attending and the policies that shape the Ghana Patient Safety Forum 2026. If your question is not covered here, the secretariat is happy to help.
Registration
The Forum is open to all healthcare professionals, trainees, students and members of the public. Whether you work in clinical care, quality and safety, policy, administration or are simply a patient or family member interested in safer care, you are welcome to register.
No. The 2026 Forum is a free event. Registration is open to all, in person at The Bank Hospital, Accra, or online via RxAccredit |Microsoft Teams and YouTube. Places are limited, so early registration is encouraged.
Complete the registration form on the Forum homepage under the "Register" section. Provide your name and email at a minimum, along with your professional details where relevant. Our secretariat will confirm your place and send joining details within two working days.
There are four tiers: Healthcare Professional (in-person), Student / Trainee (in-person), Patient & Family (in-person), and Virtual Access (online via RxAccredit |Microsoft Teams and YouTube). All tiers are free of charge.
Each delegate should register individually so we can capture their own details, email and professional information. If you need to register a large group, please contact the secretariat at admin@incisionghana.org and we will assist you.
Yes. Once you submit the form, a confirmation email is sent to the address you provided. Our secretariat will follow up with full joining details within two working days. If you do not receive a confirmation, please check your spam folder or contact us.
Yes. To change your registration tier or cancel your place, please email admin@incisionghana.org with your name and the email used at registration, and we will update your record.
Attendance
The Forum takes place in person at The Bank Hospital, Accra, Ghana, on 17 September 2026 — World Patient Safety Day. Full venue and address details are available on the homepage under "Venue".
The Forum runs for a full day. A detailed programme, including start and end times and session breaks, is published on the homepage under "Agenda". Please plan to arrive early to allow time for registration and seating.
Yes. Virtual Access is free and allows you to join live sessions online. Select the "Virtual Access" tier when registering and indicate whether you are a healthcare professional / trainee or a patient & family member.
Virtual delegates join via RxAccredit |Microsoft Teams and YouTube. Joining links and instructions are sent by the secretariat after your registration is confirmed.
Selected sessions will be available on demand after the Forum for virtual delegates. Not all sessions may be recorded; details of which sessions will be available on demand are included in the digital programme pack.
Yes. In-person registration includes lunch and refreshments, forum material, and access to the networking reception.
The Bank Hospital is accessible to delegates with mobility needs. If you have specific accessibility requirements, please note them when registering or contact the secretariat so we can support your attendance.
Yes. All delegates — in person and virtual — receive a certificate of attendance. Healthcare professionals attending for Continuous Professional Development (CPD) should provide their professional PIN at registration so CPD credits can be recorded where applicable.
Event Policies
The dress code is smart casual. Delegates are encouraged to dress comfortably for a full day of sessions and networking.
Official Forum photography and recording will take place throughout the day for use in Forum communications. If you do not wish to appear in photographs, please let a member of the secretariat know. Personal recording of sessions is not permitted.
If you are unable to attend, please let us know as early as possible by emailing admin@incisionghana.org so we can offer your place to another delegate. There is no fee for cancellation as the Forum is free to attend.

CPD Accreditation have been applied for with MDC, NMC, AHPC, PC (awaiting approval). CPD points will be awarded as soon as accreditation is received. Where CPD accreditation applies, relevant details may be shared with the accrediting professional body. If you are attending for CPD, indicate this at registration and provide your professional PIN so your attendance can be recorded.
